Y Dyfodol Forthcoming

Clybod - 'stynwch y crwth ayyb we usually play our songs here on the first Sunday of the month, but sometimes play medieval or 1960s graphic-score stuff instead Manylion/Details

A'r Gorffennol What's gone before

1/9/2002 Telford's Warhouse, Chester - Pondman's debut gig. F & G with Cass and a very nice receptive audience which lulled us into thinking it would always be like this.

22/11/2002 Hendre Hall, Abergwyngregyn - (Supporting Infinity Chimps) with Cass and John (not that any of us could hear him). Lots of interesting guitar feedback courtesy of the PA engineer and lots of audience noise. Pauline Oliveros has an idea that intense listening within the performers will spill over into the audience - hopefully this will prove to be true. Couldn't take/give any more after about song six and left wondering if it would always be like this.

29/4/2003 Yales Central Station - (Supporting The Blueskins and the The Mountaineers) with fully audible pedal steel and string things from John and Cass. Very helpful PA man and a listening type of audience. Seems to be a yo-yo pattern developing ... good gig ... bad gig ... hopefully break the pattern with the next one.

19/7/2003 Back Room Poets, Oxford - As part of the Back Room Poetry festival. A very nice man shouted at everyone to be quiet - we wish we could take him to all noisy environments.

13/8/2003 Emerson College, Forest Row

15/11/2003 Canolfan Ucheldre, Holyhead - with Cass Meurig, John Lawrence and Owen Lloyd-Evans. Pics.

3/12//2003 Hen and Chickens, Abergavenny - Fiona read some of her poetry and we played many songs. There was no PA but this was a good thing.

26/06/2004 Canolfan Ucheldre, Holyhead - as guests of Jay Ramsay and Johnny Coppin. Playing in another quiet place without any PA (just a ghettoblaster for the laptop) - this seems to be an ideal environment for us at the moment. Gorwel improvised some stuff with Jay, and he returned the favour for some of our looser stuff.

23/10//2004 Conwy Food Festival - An inspector in a white coat asked John to tone it down a little as his rocking out acoustic stuff was interfering with the conversation within the hall. It was a good opportunity to hear Alun Tan Lan as well.

20/08/2005 Aberystwyth Arts Centre - part of a Welsh-Irish writing weekend.

13/10/2005 Galeri Caernarfon (John Peel Day with lots of bands we've crossed paths with since the 80s. Played some new songs and Low's 'Weight of Water' with crwth from Cass. John and Dewi played too..

16/10/2005 Galeri Caernarfon yn cefnogi synnau hyfryd Gwilym Morus ac Alun Tan Lan a 'stafell llawn o pobol ddistaw iawn - diolch yn fawr! Second leg of the single venue tour of Caernarfon, with help from Cass and the Melodica Man (Dewi Evans).

14/1/06 Cyngerdd Clybod (Ucheldre, Caergybi) Clybod Concert

1/3/2006 Galeri Caernarfon (hefo Cass a John) yn cefnogi Euros Childs supporting Euros Childs

30/03/2006 Hendre Hall, Bangor (hefo John) with Martin Dawes Quintet and Gwyn Parry.

27/6//06 - Anglican Chaplaincy, Bangor hefo Gwilym Morus, Alun Tan Lan a MDQ.

7/7/06 - Rhwng: The Point Between, Canolfan Ucheldre, Caergybi A few songs to accompany Annee Griffiths' talk on 'Mindfulness' Manylion/Details

15/7/06 - Canolfan Ucheldre, Caergybi (hefo Cass) supporting Gwilym Morus

5/8/06 - Gwyl Werin Porth Llechog/Bull Bay Folk Festival

11/10/06 - Galeri Caernarfon (hefo Cass) supporting Katell Keinig and Ann Scott
